The Clovelly Public School P&C is a wonderful way to keep across what’s happening at the school, meet other parents and guardians and become an involved members of the school community. It’s also a fantastic way to support your child’s education.
We invite parents and guardians to participate in the services, events and other initiatives that we run throughout the year, and to attend our regular board meetings and yearly AGM.
Our objectives are to:
- to promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation, and
- to assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.

Become a member
We invite all parents, guardians and citizens to become a member of the P&C. Membership costs $1 annually.
Participate on the board
Members of the board are able to undertake their position for a total of three years. Each year at the P&C Annual General Meeting (AGM), the parent group elects the P&C office bearers to carry out the decisions and responsibilities of the P&C. The AGM is held at the first meeting of the calendar year in February. Please contact the P&C if you are interested in taking an officer position, all nominees are welcome.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the board, we encourage you to participate in our monthly meetings and AGM. We also recommend that you show your interest and commitment by volunteering at our many school events, activities and services.
Participate on a sub-committee
Our sub-committees take responsibility for the many events, fundraisers, school improvement activities and services offered at Clovelly Public School. You’ll see notifications for positions that need filling listed here.
Many of our sub-committees also require regular and occasional volunteers to provide their services, and by volunteering, you’ll show your commitment to taking part in a sub-committee.
